you can't... do it this way. in the words of the internet... "you'r doing it wrong".
you dont submit the same, unfinished game multiple times and hope for better result.

Here at Newgrounds, we create games and video and submit COMPLETED versions to the portal for Judgment. The flash portal is not a development source where you ask people to help you develop a game. do that at some forum or something. if you submit a polished, finished, quality product, people will give you 'teh respektz' and be less likely to blam it.

So if you're going to create a game, CREATE A GAME. Create it from beginning to end. Finish it, polish it, and make it presentable for the public BEFORE submitting it. no 'betas', no '0.02', no '0.03', none of that. What we vote on should be a FINISHED product. You CAN do this, you just need to go about it a little differently.

Its one of those games that's so hairpullingly difficult, that you feel like it's laughing at you every time you die. so you have to keep playing! and play on I did! fearlessly forward! Death after death! I forged on, unto the bitter end. and in the end, It was I who prevailed.

but what makes canabalt such a good game is that the jump height is controlled by how long you hold down the jump button

little tap = little jump
big press = long/high jump

come on you have to have at least some 'wow factor' this is just way too boring. there's no incentive to keep playing.

suggestions
- make it so you can throw the ball and have it bounce off the edges.
- actually draw things

whew!

after what seems like forever, I finaly got the last max out. that's right, I beat the game all the way through :) and I have to say it was pretty addictive. the one big flaw I noticed was that you should've been able to upgrade maneuverability. and you should've had multiple songs. cuz the one just got boring after a while.

cuz those damn spiders kept barely getting me!

needs faster bullets, powerups and graphics. and music (good music, not spammy, loud, annoying, low quality, looping music.)
